At first glance you might see a dress, but this style could also be a tunik, or an over-sized shirt. The design is inspired by the shape of a kimono. Both men and women can wear it.
0001 Dress Kimo has no size. It has an outline of 112 cm and is about 95 cm long. It comes with a separate belt, free to wear any way you want, like in your waist or on your hips, accentuating the lines you want to show off today.
In its original form, this piece is open at the front, like a kimono. It is folded around your body so it can adjust to any shape. We can also customize this style, with a subtle stitch near the décolleté, closing it at the top and turning it into a dress. In this variant, it is still possible to style it in different ways: loose, with the belt high up in the waist or casually down on the hips.
We realized this style in the deluxe Bamboo Silk. This vegan silk is made of bamboo viscose, a rich and soft sustainable fabric, making your skin feel like partying all night long, or- in these times of lockdown and teleworking-striding through the house and occasionally striking a pose on the canapé. It has an outer matt side and a slight gloss inside.

YU.ME BXL produces its styles in small series or by pre-order.
Working with limited stock is an important part of being sustainable in fashion, to avoid leftovers and minimize pressure on the production lines. All pieces are produced in Brussels, by socio-professional reintegration ateliers, functioning as a platform for education and employment for professionally challenged people in the city. Production time will take between 1 to maximum 2 weeks.

Black Bamboo Silk
Composition: 100% organic bamboo viscose.
Care: Washable at 30°C. Iron at cool temperature, preferably not directly on fabric, protect with cotton cloth (like a towel).
